Every attendee (including media) will be searched prior to entry. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a thorough, search, including emptying your pockets and bags, a full pat-down, having all of your items examined, and possibly removing your shoes. Police officers work both inside and outside our events. All narcotics laws are enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.

    All festival goers may park in our city parking lots, authorized street parking (please read all parking signs before parking and be mindful of our neighbors). We also suggest taking an Uber, Lyft or taxi to the festival. Drive safely and drink responsibly. Our official Uber, Lyft and taxi drop off is located on 1st Street - south of Main Street. Located in front of the 1st Street parking lot entrance. 

    1) Between Garfield Ave and 1st Street (south of Main Street) - enter north from 1st Street

    2) Between Garfield Ave and 1st Street (north of Main Street) - enter south on 1st Street of off of Garfield Blvd across from the Alhambra Edwards Movie Theater

    3) Alhambra Courthouse parking lot (south of Main Street and Commonwealth Ave) - enter south on 2nd Street​

    All parking lots labeled in green below are available for free parking at MainFest 2016.​


    Main Street will be closed from Garfield Ave to 3rd Street. Garfield Ave will be open to vehicle traffic traveling north and south. 1st Street will be closed from the AT&T building to north 1st Street by Vino at Trio's. 2nd Street will be closed from Commonwealth to Main Street by Diner on Main. North Second Street will be open to vehicle traffic up to the Diner on Main's drive way.


By attending MainFest Music Festival, you consent to be photographed and/or recorded for commercial and/or promotional use, without compensation, and releases MainFest Music Festival and its partners from any liability whatsoever. Thank you for understanding.



Our Downtown Alhambra restaurants will be open for your dining pleasure during the festival. Local vendors and food trucks will offer a variety of food, snacks, water and other beverages. Cash and credit accepted. Please note, some vendors may be cash only. Please plan accordingly.

Beer, liquor and wine will be available throughout the venue at restaurants and bars.  Beer and/or liquor will be available inside restaurants, with a Beer Garden available in the festival. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol (ID required). Please receive your 21+ wristband at any of our ID check points.


To ensure a safe environment for all, security and medical staff will be present throughout the event. If you need any assistance, please go to the nearest information booth, or seek out an event staff member.

Q: Are tickets expected to sell out?

Q: What payment methods can be used to purchase tickets?
A: Credit and debit cards are accepted.

Q: What do VIP tickets receive? What's the difference between VIP and General Admission tickets?

A: VIP tickets receive front row access all day to the main stage and early line entrance to the festival.

Q: Can a General Admission ticket be upgraded to a VIP on site at the festival? ​

A: VIP Pass includes all the General Admission Ticket amenities + a VIP special hangout area with private bar. VIP Passes also enjoy special viewing area for main stage and separate festival entrance and limited edition festival t-shirt(sizes are first come first serve and subject to availability).

All VIP Passes will be available for pick-up at Will Call only. Pick up your VIP Pass at our Will Call booth with printed or digital ticket to get your commemorative festival VIP lanyard, credentials and wristband.

These tickets are extremely limited and available to those 21 years of age or older. VIP wristbands must be worn at all times.

Q: What is the maximum number of tickets I can buy?
A: Tickets are limited to ten (10) per person.

A: If you selected regular delivery, you’ll typically receive your tickets within two weeks of ordering. However, delivery times are approximate, and sometimes delivery may be delayed.

Q: How can I avoid ticket fraud?
A: The best way to avoid ticket fraud is to buy directly from TicketFly. If you buy resale tickets, we advise you to get them only from trusted friends. DO NOT purchase from scalpers. If you arrive at the venue with an illegitimate ticket, you will be turned away, and no refund will be provided.

Q: I’m buying multiple tickets. Can I transfer some of them to friends?
A: You may purchase tickets on behalf of your friends, but once they’ve used their ticket for entry, it is non-transferable. And for security purposes, they will not be able to discuss the specifics of your order with ticketing representatives.


Q: What time does the event start & end each day?
A: Will Call opens at 2pm, and the festival hours are 1:00pm–10:30pm.

Q: Can I enter anytime?
A: As long as you are holding a ticket, you may enter any time during the event.

Q: Will set times get posted in advance?
A: Yes. During the days leading up to the event, set times will be posted via this site, our social media sites, and email updates. Note: The lineup is subject to change.

Q: What is the closest airport?
A: Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Burbank Airport (BUR).

Q: Is reentry allowed?
A: No. There are no re-entry's and ins and outs.

Q: What is the camera policy?
A: Professional photographers must obtain a photo pass using our press submission form. Do not email your request. Photo passes are not required for standard cameras with lenses under 15 cm long or handheld video devices under 6″. Professional video cameras are not permitted.

Q: What can I bring with me?
A: See above for a complete list of acceptable and prohibited items.

Q: Is the festival ADA accessible? ​

A: Yes! Please enter from any festival entrance for access. ​

Q: Will there be a Lost & Found?
A: Yes! Please see our information booth for any lost and found.

Q: Will there be available restrooms for festival goers?​

A: Yes! We will have portable restrooms located throughout the festival with hand washing stations. Please note that restaurant restrooms are for restaurant patrons only. 

​Q: What if it rains? Will the festival still go on?

A: MainFest will happen rain or shine. The show must go on! There are no refunds for rainy weather.

Q: Can I hang posters or hand out flyers?
A: Do not hang posters or hand out flyers inside the venue or in the surrounding neighborhood. You may hand out flyers only just outside the doors at the close of the show each day. Anyone violating this policy will be banned from promoting at our events.

Q: Does the venue have cash machines?
A: Yes, ATMs will be available inside the venue.

Q: Can I sleep in my car or park overnight?
A: Sorry, sleeping in cars in the venue parking lot is not permitted for anyone. DO NOT leave your car in the parking lot during non-event hours, or it will be towed at your expense.

Q: Can I rent a locker?
A: Sorry, lockers will not be provided at this event.

Q: Is this an all ages event?
A: Yes. All ages are welcome. There may be some profanity and inappropriate content. Please use your own judgement. All festival goers must have an entry ticket. 3 years and under are free. Please note that strollers are not allowed.

Q: Can we smoke at the festival?

A: Yes. Cigarette smoking is okay.

Q: What kind of ID do I need?
A: You must present identification to enter the venue and/or buy alcohol. See above for the complete list of acceptable and unacceptable forms.

Q: What if my ID is lost or expired?
A: Security will accept expired ID cards ONLY if accompanied by DMV renewal documentation. If your ID was lost or stolen, you must bring a government-issued interim license or passport.

Q: Can I use a consular ID or foreign driver’s license?
A: Consular IDs are not considered acceptable identification. Foreign government-issued driver’s licenses are acceptable with a photocopy of a passport. A foreign government-issued passport will work on its own.
